I hadn’t, but someone has asked me to write some science songs for younger people. Do you think people would find a revision album useful? Would that be fun to listen to? Or would it just remind people of exams too much?
To be honest, with the ease that people pick up lyrics, I’m surprised people haven’t really made revision/learning songs before. People always get songs stuck in their heads; a tune seems to make things easier to remember. The most useless use of my memory is probably the part filled with song lyrics, so I personally always wished that for my GCSES there were songs for various science topics. I did actually make up a few of my own: just by trying to put something to a few chords meant I learnt it. =]
Just the word revision makes me quiver with fear, so if an album were written for ‘fun’, not ‘revision/exams’, had some decent tunes and were a laugh to listen to (some humour is always good), then I’d probably invest in it (rather demanding I know..).

Maybe something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U0kXkWXSXRA
And of course, there’s the elements song that’s on constant replay in the RI’s museum: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zGM-wSKFBpo
So all in all, I think what you plan to do with the money if you win, is a fantastic idea =D
