      LOTS of ways: curing diseases, building new energy sources, understanding the way we live, sending people into space, looking at the building blocks of matter, making sure there’s evidence for all our important decisions… science is really useful.

      Too many ways to list here haha. For starters you wouldn’t have been able to ask us that question if it weren’t for science.

      As the guys say, it’s a big list! It would be easier to list the ways that science doesn’t help the world.

      Science gives us all our technologies, and the software to run on them. It gives us the plastics and other materials we make things out of, and the tools to make them with.

      Without science our houses would be build of stone, wood or reeds. We would only be wearing natural clothes, like sheep’s wool or cotton. We would be cooking over fire, we wouldn’t be able to read after the sun sets. We also wouldn’t be able to talk and share ideas over long distances. Some science is old so we forget that some scientist had to figure it out first. Without science, I wouldn’t be able to call my mum this sunday because I’m in Scotland and she’s in Ireland.
