I can go to work whenever I want, I normally leave home about 9:00ish,

Being a scientist can definitely be fun, I guess its up to others to decide if its cool, I’m never going to get the cool factor of Brad Pit or David Beckham but people seem to go a bit potty for Prof. Brian Cox so who knows.

Usually about 9.30. I think being a scientist is fun. I think being a scientist is cool too, but I don’t know how many people would say the same!

I usually get to my office between 9 and 10, but I’ve usually done some work at home first.

I think being a scientist is a lot of fun. Cool is harder to say, I think I gave up on being cool years before I became a scientist so I’m no expert!

I’m really lucky as I’ve got a lenient supervisor, so I could arrive at work whenever I wanted (as long as I got my work done of course!). However, I usually get into work by 8:30 because I have to drop my girlfriend off at work. She’s a secondary school teacher and starts at 8:00am. If I could go to work a bit later I would 🙂

Hi there. I get to go to work whenever I want but I usually arrive at around 8:30am of course this completely depends on if I have an experiment running or not and it’s not been unusual for me to come in during the wee small hours.

Is being a scientist fun. For sure I love what I do. I’ve always been a bit of a tinkerer so fiddling about with small motor stages and culturing cells in the wet lab just appeals to me. As for cool it really does depend on what you define as cool. For me yes, through my research I’ve seen things very few others have and I find that pretty cool.
